I finished prepping and priming about half the parts on the horizontal stabilizer today. I did find a few small dimpling mistakes, where I accidentally mirrored the dimples. It was easy to correct with the squeezer and a flat set. Tomorrow I will finish priming, and start on assembly of everything.
I also started getting together the parts on my elevators. I found a small bit of damage I missed when unpacking the crate.

Today I spent around an hour cleaning parts with the scotchbrite, and doing some countersinking.
Cleaning ribs on the scotchbrite wheel, as well as surface prep for priming using the maroon pad.
I went through and did all the countersinking on one of the spars, and all the angle pieces. For the angle, I had the drill press set up and it worked quite well. I have noticed that when countersinking this thickness, there is very little support for the pilot on the cutter. This causes holes to occasionally wander a bit, enlarging the hole. The drill press was able to fix that.
I spent 2 hours today deburring the h-stab skins and dimpling. I was able to complete everything except the 4 holes per skin that require the close quarters dimple die. Unfortunately I am out of nails and need to resupply at Home Depot.
I later found I could reach them by removing the table on my DRDT-2, so the skins are ready for priming.
